Maryland High School Baseball - St. Albans held off by Georgetown Prep
April 2, 2026: North Bethesda, MD 20852 Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas (North Bethesda, MD) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting St. Albans Bulldogs (Washington, DC), 6-4 in a league match.
With the triumph, Georgetown Prep advances its record to 6-7 on the season. The Little Hoyas travel to Towson (Towson, MD) to battle the Generals in a non-league match on Saturday, April 4. The Generals come into the match with a record of 14-1. Towson won 11-6 in their recent league match against Sparrows Point (Baltimore, MD)
The Bulldogs now have a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Landon for a Interstate Athletic Conference match on Tuesday, April 7. St. Albans will battle a Bears squad coming off a 11-1 league win over St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Alexandria, VA). The Bears record now stands at 10-4.
