April 2, 2026: Norwood, NC 28128

In Thursday's league test, the South Stanly Bulls (Norwood, NC) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting North Stanly Comets (New London, NC), by a tally of 11-1.

Next, the Bulls clash with the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 6. South Stanly will attempt to advance on its 13-0 season record. The Chargers go into the test with a 12-2 record after their 18-0 league win over Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC).

The Comets (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Providence Grove was routed by West Davidson (Lexington, NC), 6-3, in a league contest.
