Illinois High School Baseball - Central A & M prevails Meridian
April 20, 2022: Macon, IL 62544 Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Central A & M Raiders (Moweaqua, IL) and the host Meridian Hawks (Macon, IL), saw Central A & M's baseball squad knock off Meridian by a count of 13-4.
Coming up next, the Raiders play the Clinton Maroons (Clinton, IL) in a Central Illinois battle, on Friday, April 22. Central A & M will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record.
The Hawks now possess a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Teresa for a battle on Friday, April 22. Meridian will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond (Arthur, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-6.
