The Newtown Nighthawks topped the visiting Norwich Free Academy Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Wednesday's league test.

The Nighthawks now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kolbe-Cathedral for a South-West test on Friday, April 22. Newtown will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Masuk (Monroe, CT). The Cougars record now stands at 2-6.

The Wildcats (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Shelton (Shelton, CT). The Gaels enter the South-West test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Shelton gained a win over Hand (Madison, CT), 3-1, in a league test.
