In Tuesday's league contest, the Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) volleyball squad were winner over the host Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Nighthawks battle the Hand Tigers (Madison, CT) in a South-West contest, on Wednesday, May 18. Newtown will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 3-12 record after their 3-1 league loss to Oxford (Oxford, CT).
