May 2, 2022: Oxford, CT 06478 Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT), 3-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Gaels battle the Xavier Falcons (Middletown, CT) in a South-West match, on Wednesday, May 4. Shelton will attempt to advance on its 9-2 season record. The Falcons come into the match with a 8-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Newtown (Newtown, CT).
With the loss, Oxford drops to 5-8 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Masuk (Monroe, CT) to battle the Panthers in a South-West match on Wednesday, May 4. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 6-7. Masuk lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Joel Barlow (Redding, CT)
