Illinois High School Softball - Lake Zurich bounces Glenbrook North
April 20, 2022: Northbrook, IL 60062 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) and the host Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL), witnessed Lake Zurich's softball squad tip Glenbrook North by a count of 9-4.
The Bears now sport a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Waukegan for a North Suburban match on Monday, April 25. Lake Zurich will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 13-10 league loss to Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Glenbrook North moves to 5-8 on the season. The Spartans host Niles West (Skokie, IL) to meet the Wolves in a Central Suburban - South match on Thursday, April 21. The Wolves go into the match with a record of 4-5. Niles West won 15-0 in their recent non-league match against Amundsen (Chicago, IL)
