Illinois High School Softball - Lake Zurich bounces Waukegan
April 25, 2022: Lake Zurich, IL 60047 Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL), 10-0 in a league challenge.
The Bears now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Libertyville for a North Suburban challenge on Tuesday, April 26. Lake Zurich will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 13-2 league win over Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-13.
With the loss, Waukegan falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Mundelein (Mundelein, IL) to battle the Mustangs in a North Suburban challenge on Tuesday, April 26. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 4-7. Mundelein lost 11-9 in their recent league challenge against Zion-Benton (Zion, IL)
