Illinois High School Softball - Lake Zurich knocked off by Warren Township
May 2, 2022: Lake Zurich, IL 60047 In Monday's league contest, the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL), by a margin of 15-0.
With the triumph, Warren Township moves its record to 16-6 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Zion-Benton (Zion, IL) to play the Zee-Bees in a North Suburban contest on Wednesday, May 4. The Zee-Bees come into the contest with a record of 5-6. Zion-Benton won 11-1 in their recent league contest against Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL)
In their next game, the Bears play the Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 7. Lake Zurich will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record.
