Illinois High School Softball - Waukegan bounces Lake Forest
May 4, 2022: Lake Forest, IL 60045 The Waukegan Bulldogs routed the host Lake Forest Scouts softball squad by a final score of 13-3 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Bulldogs (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Zion-Benton (Zion, IL). The Zee-Bees go into the North Suburban battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Zion-Benton was routed by Warren Township (Gurnee, IL), 11-0, in a league battle.
The Scouts now possess a 0-16 record. They play next when they host Libertyville for a North Suburban battle on Monday, May 9. Lake Forest will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Taft (Chicago, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-15.
