Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Concord Minutemen (Concord, CA) and the visiting Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA), saw Concord's baseball squad knock off Las Lomas by a count of 8-3.

Coming up next, the Minutemen play the Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 21. Concord will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Panthers go into the match with a 8-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to Acalanes (Lafayette, CA).

The Knights (9-6) will now prepare for their match against Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA). The Broncos go into the non-league match with a 4-9 record. In their last match, Northgate was overwhelmed by College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA), 4-0, in a league match.
