Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC), 14-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Dixon upgrades its record to 8-11 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC) to battle the Pirates in a Coastal 3A test on Tuesday, April 23. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 8-6. Swansboro lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Croatan (Newport, NC)

With the defeat, New Bern falls to 11-7 on the season. The Bears host J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC) to battle the Rampants in a Big East 3A/4A test on Tuesday, April 23.
