The Dillon Wildcats softball team scored 17 runs and held the host Marlboro County Bulldogs to 2 in the Wildcats league win on Monday.

The Wildcats now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lamar for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 23. Dillon will confront a Silver Fox team coming off a 22-1 league win over Great Falls (Great Falls, SC). The Silver Fox record now stands at 13-8.

With the loss, Marlboro County moves to 4-16 on the season. The Bulldogs host Aynor (Aynor, SC) to confront the Blue Jackets in a AAA Region 6 battle on Friday, April 24. The Blue Jackets come into the battle with a record of 15-3. Aynor won 16-0 in their recent league battle against Georgetown (Georgetown, SC)
