Nevada High School Softball - Virgin Valley holds off Moapa Valley
April 21, 2022: Mesquite, NV 89027 Virgin Valley Bulldogs (Mesquite, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Moapa Valley Pirates (Overton, NV), 23-21 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sunrise Mountain for a challenge on Monday, April 25. Virgin Valley will face a Miners squad coming off a 19-4 league loss to Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV). The Miners record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, Moapa Valley falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV) to face the Desert Shields in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 25. The Desert Shields enter the challenge with a record of 4-5. Cheyenne won 19-4 in their recent league challenge against Sunrise Mountain (Las Vegas, NV)
