Nevada High School Softball - Moapa Valley bounces Sunrise Mountain
April 5, 2022: Las Vegas, NV 89142 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Moapa Valley Pirates (Overton, NV) and the host Sunrise Mountain Miners (Las Vegas, NV), witnessed Moapa Valley's softball squad tip Sunrise Mountain by a count of 26-19.
The Pirates now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Virgin Valley for a non-league match on Thursday, April 21.
With the loss, Sunrise Mountain moves to 2-5 on the season. The Miners travel to Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV) to face the Desert Shields in a match on Tuesday, April 19. The Desert Shields go into the match with a record of 3-5. Cheyenne lost 21-9 in their recent non-league match against Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV)
