Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC), 12-1 in a league test.

With the win, Triton upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Hawks host Harnett Central (Angier, NC) to battle the Trojans in a All American 3A/4A battle on Tuesday, April 25. The Trojans enter the battle with a record of 9-10. Harnett Central won 11-8 in their recent league battle against Overhills (Spring Lake, NC)

The Eagles now possess a 6-16 record. They take the field next when they host E.E. Smith for a All American 3A/4A battle on Monday, April 24. Western Harnett will play a Golden Bulls squad coming off a 9-3 league loss to Westover (Fayetteville, NC). The Golden Bulls record now stands at 3-11.
