New Mexico High School Softball - Pojoaque Valley bounces Taos
April 21, 2023: Taos, NM 87571 Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Taos Tigers (Taos, NM), 23-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Elks/Elkettes now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Robertson for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 24. Pojoaque Valley will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 19-4 non-league win over West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM). The Cardinals record now stands at 14-2.
With the loss, Taos falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM) to face the Hilltoppers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Hilltoppers enter the challenge with a record of 14-4. Los Alamos won 19-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM)
