The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Mountain View Mavericks (Meridian, ID) and the host Middleton Vikings (Middleton, ID), saw Mountain View's baseball team gain a win over Middleton by a tally of 7-3.

The Mavericks (17-4) will now prepare for their battle against Meridian (Meridian, ID). The Warriors enter the 6A Southern Idaho battle with a 5-16 record. In their last battle, Meridian was overwhelmed by Owyhee (Meridian, ID), 7-4, in a league battle.

Next, the Vikings face the Columbia Wildcats (Nampa, ID) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 22. Middleton will attempt to upgrade on its 15-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 7-15 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Timberline (Boise, ID).
