Maryland High School Baseball - Blake defeats Northwood
April 22, 2022: Silver Spring, MD 20901 Blake Bengals (Silver Spring, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD), 11-3 in a league test.
With the win, Blake upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Bengals travel to Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD) to battle the Barons in a non-league test on Monday, April 25. The Barons come into the test with a record of 7-6. Bethesda-Chevy Chase won 9-6 in their recent non-league test against Northwest (Germantown, MD)
With the defeat, Northwood falls to 2-5 on the season. The Gladiators travel to Whitman (Bethesda, MD) to battle the Vikings in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 26. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 9-2. Whitman won 5-0 in their recent league test against Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD)
