Connecticut High School Softball - Whitney RVT knocked off by Wilbur Cross
April 22, 2022: Hamden, CT 06514 In Friday's non-league contest, the Wilbur Cross Governors (New Haven, CT) softball team overwhelmed the host Whitney RVT Owls (Hamden, CT), by a margin of 24-2.
With the triumph, Wilbur Cross moves its record to 2-4 on the year. The Governors host Hand (Madison, CT) to play the Tigers in a Southern Connecticut - Oronoque contest on Monday, April 25. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 5-2. Hand lost 11-0 in their recent league contest against Foran (Milford, CT)
In their next game, the Owls play the Bullard-Havens Tigers (Bridgeport, CT) in a Connecticut Tech contest, on Wednesday, April 27. Whitney RVT will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 21-7 league win over Prince RVT (Hartford, CT).
