May 10, 2022: New Haven, CT 06511 The Wilbur Cross Governors (New Haven, CT) softball routed the visiting Whitney RVT Owls (Hamden, CT), 18-4 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Governors (5-8) will now prepare for their bout against Branford (Branford, CT). The Hornets go into the non-league bout with a 2-12 record. In their last bout, Branford toppled Career Magnet (New Haven, CT), 17-0, in a non-league bout.
The Owls now possess a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Kaynor Tech for a Connecticut Tech bout on Wednesday, May 11.
