Maryland High School Softball - Flowers knocked off by Bowie
April 22, 2024: Bowie, MD 20715 In Monday's league contest, the Bowie Bulldogs (Bowie, MD) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Flowers Jaguars (Springdale, MD), by a margin of 15-4.
With the triumph, Bowie moves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD) to play the Raiders in a Prince George's County 4A contest on Friday, April 26. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 11-0.
In their next game, the Jaguars play the Suitland Rams (Forestville, MD) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 24. Flowers will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record.
