Maryland High School Softball - Laurel knocked off by Flowers
May 1, 2024: Springdale, MD 20774 In Wednesday's league contest, the Flowers Jaguars (Springdale, MD) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD), by a margin of 26-12.
With the triumph, Flowers moves its record to 14-4 on the year.
In their next game, the Spartans play the Northwestern Wildcats (Hyattsville, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A contest, on Friday, May 3. Laurel will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 1-15 record after their 21-5 league loss to Bowie (Bowie, MD).
