In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Hoover Huskies baseball team scored a nice 16-8 victory over the Nicholas County Grizzlies.

The Huskies (10-8) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 11-7 record.

Next, the Grizzlies face the Wyoming East Warriors (New Richmond, WV) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 23. Nicholas County will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 13-3 record after their 14-0 league win over Mingo Central (Matewan, WV).
