The Sissonville Indians baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Nicholas County Grizzlies to 5 in the Indians non-league win on Monday.

The Indians now own a 16-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverside for a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. Sissonville will play a Warriors team coming off a 13-5 non-league loss to Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 7-18.

With the defeat, Nicholas County drops to 13-11 on the year. The Grizzlies host Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 6-11. Greenbrier West won 15-5 in their recent league test against River View (Bradshaw, WV)
