In Monday's non-league bout, the Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV), by a tally of 11-1.

Next up, the Spartans encounter the PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Greenbrier East will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Castlewood (Castlewood, VA).

The Grizzlies (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Midland Trail (Hico, WV). The Patriots enter the Coalfield AA bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Midland Trail was overwhelmed by Princeton (Princeton, WV), 16-1, in a non-league bout.
