The Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV) baseball trounced the host Princeton Tigers (Princeton, WV), 8-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ripley for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 4. Greenbrier East will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV). The Vikings record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, Princeton drops to 2-8 on the year. The Tigers host WestSide (Clear Fork, WV) to clash with the Renegades in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 4.
