In Tuesday's league test, the Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Bedford North Lawrence Stars (Bedford, IN), by a tally of 12-1.

Next, the Highlanders clash with the Lanesville Eagles (Lanesville, IN) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 24. Floyd Central will attempt to advance on its 14-4 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 11-5 league loss to Henryville (Henryville, IN).

The Stars (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Charlestown (Charlestown, IN). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Charlestown overcame Silver Creek (Sellersburg, IN), 8-5, in a league challenge.
