The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI) and the host Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI), observed Rogers's softball team get by Hope by a tally of 12-5.

The Vikings (3-4) will now prepare for their bout against East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI). The Avengers go into the Division 2 bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, East Greenwich tipped Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 11-4, in a league bout.
