The Weir Red Riders softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting The Linsly School Cadets to 1 in the Red Riders non-league win on Tuesday.

The Red Riders now sport a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harrison Central for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 23. Weir will confront a Huskies team coming off a 12-8 league win over Cambridge (Cambridge, OH). The Huskies record now stands at 15-5.

With the loss, The Linsly School moves to 3-11 on the season. The Cadets host Toronto (Toronto, OH) to confront the Red Knights in a Ohio Valley Athletic AA battle on Wednesday, April 23.
