The North Star Cougars crushed the visiting Meyersdale Red Raiders baseball team by a count of 12-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Conemaugh Township for a Western Pennsylvania bout on Tuesday, April 26. North Star will face a Indians team coming off a 10-0 league win over Ferndale (Johnstown, PA). The Indians record now stands at 4-1.

Next, the Red Raiders face the Rockwood Rockets (Rockwood, PA) in a Western Pennsylvania bout, on Saturday, April 23. Meyersdale will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Rockets enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 18-0 league win over Turkeyfoot Valley Area (Confluence, PA).
