In Thursday's league challenge, the North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA) baseball squad edged the visiting Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA), by a final score of 10-9.

With the win, North Star upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Cougars host Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA) to battle the Indians in a Western Pennsylvania challenge on Monday, May 9. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Conemaugh Township lost 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Portage (Portage, PA)

With the defeat, Windber falls to 7-6 on the season. The Ramblers travel to Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA) to battle the Blue Jays in a Western Pennsylvania challenge on Friday, May 6.
