The North Star Cougars baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Windber Ramblers to 1 in the Cougars league victory on Thursday.

The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA). The Blue Jays go into the Western Pennsylvania match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Conemaugh Valley prevailed over Ferndale (Johnstown, PA), 10-0, in a league outing.

Next, the Ramblers confront the Blacklick Valley Vikings (Nanty Glo, PA) in a Western Pennsylvania outing, on Monday, April 18. Windber will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Vikings go into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 12-2 league loss to Portage (Portage, PA).
