Illinois High School Softball - East Peoria bounces Morton
April 23, 2025: East Peoria, IL 61611 The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL) and the visiting Morton Potters (Morton, IL), observed East Peoria's softball team get by Morton by a tally of 9-2.
The Raiders (11-8) will now prepare for their bout against Metamora (Metamora, IL). The Redbirds go into the Mid-Illini bout with a 16-4 record. In their last bout, Metamora tipped Normal Community (Normal, IL), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Potters clash with the Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL) in a Mid-Illini bout, on Thursday, April 24. Morton will attempt to advance on its 2-13 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 14-3 record after their 12-5 non-league win over Richwoods (Peoria, IL).
