Galion Tigers (Galion, OH) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Highland Fighting Scots (Marengo, OH), 5-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Galion upgrades its record to 3-11 on the year. The Tigers host Madison Comprehensive (Mansfield, OH) to play the Rams in a non-league game on Monday, April 28. The Rams enter the game with a record of 12-2. Madison Comprehensive won 3-2 in their recent league game against West Holmes (Millersburg, OH)

The Fighting Scots now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Lakewood for a non-league game on Thursday, April 24. Highland will play a Lancers squad coming off a 11-6 league win over Licking Heights (Pataskala, OH). The Lancers record now stands at 14-1.
