In Thursday's non-league test, the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, WV) softball squad overwhelmed the host Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV), by a tally of 16-1.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Mount View Golden Knights (Welch, WV) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 24. Princeton will attempt to advance on its 5-16 season record. The Golden Knights go into the test with a 12-4 record after their 16-1 non-league win over Hurley (Hurley, VA).

The Beavers (2-7) will now prepare for their test against River View (Bradshaw, WV). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, River View was routed by Westside (Clear Fork, WV), 9-2, in a league test.
