Ohio High School Baseball - Mayfield tipped by St. Edward
April 24, 2022: Mayfield, OH 44143 In Sunday's non-league game, the visiting St. Edward Eagles baseball team scored a tight 8-6 victory over the Mayfield Wildcats.
The Eagles (11-2) will now prepare for their game against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin by West Geauga (Chesterland, OH), 4-2, in a non-league contest.
The Wildcats now sport a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kenston for a Western Reserve contest on Tuesday, April 26. Mayfield will play a Bombers squad coming off a 7-1 league win over Madison (Madison, OH). The Bombers record now stands at 5-4.
