North Carolina High School Softball - Hickory Grove Christian gets by Piedmont Community Charter
April 24, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28215 The Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC) softball nipped the visiting Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC), 2-1 in Monday's non-league contest.
With the triumph, Hickory Grove Christian moves its record to 12-9 on the year. The Lions host Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC) to play the Stallions in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 25. The Stallions come into the contest with a record of 2-4. Greater Cabarrus Stallions lost 15-0 in their recent non-league contest against Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC)
In their next game, the Patriots play the Apprentice Academy Red Wolves (Monroe, NC) in a Metro Eight 1A contest, on Thursday, April 27. Piedmont Community Charter will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record.
