The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the North Augusta Yellow Jackets (North Augusta, SC) and the host Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC), saw North Augusta's baseball team beat Midland Valley by a margin of 8-3.

The Yellow Jackets (10-13) will now prepare for their battle against Strom Thurmond (Johnston, SC). The Rebels enter the non-league battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Strom Thurmond held off Ninety Six (Ninety Six, SC), 11-6, in a non-league battle.
