April 24, 2025: Floyd, VA 24091 Alleghany Cougars (Covington, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Alleghany moves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Carroll County (Hillsville, VA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 29. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 2-3. Carroll County won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Radford (Radford, VA)
