April 24, 2025: Middletown, MD 21769 The Middletown Knights (Middletown, MD) lacrosse routed the visiting Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots (Frederick, MD), 17-2 in Thursday's league outing.
The Knights now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Smithsburg for a CMC outing on Monday, April 28. Middletown will face a Leopards squad coming off a 20-7 league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, MD). The Leopards record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Governor Thomas Johnson falls to 0-7 on the year. The Patriots travel to Walkersville (Walkersville, MD) to face the Lions in a CMC outing on Tuesday, April 29. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 7-2. Walkersville won 11-5 in their recent league outing against Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD)
