April 25, 2024: Bennington, VT 05201 Mount Anthony Patriots (Bennington, VT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Burr & Burton Bulldogs (Manchester, VT), 12-0 in a league challenge.
The Patriots now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Burlington for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27.
With the loss, Burr & Burton falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Springfield (Springfield, VT) to battle the Cosmos in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. The Cosmos enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Springfield won 11-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Proctor (Proctor, VT)
