Vermont High School Softball - Mount Anthony bounces Fair Haven
April 18, 2024: Bennington, VT 05201 Mount Anthony Patriots (Bennington, VT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Fair Haven Slaters (Fair Haven, VT), 16-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Patriots now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Schalmont for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. Mount Anthony will battle a Sabres squad coming off a 20-1 league win over Lansingburgh (Troy, NY). The Sabres record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, Fair Haven falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Slaters travel to Mill River (North Clarendon, VT) to battle the Minutemen in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. The Minutemen enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Mill River lost 18-6 in their recent non-league challenge against White River Valley (Royalton, VT)
