April 25, 2025: Chula, GA 31733 Fans at Friday's league battle between the Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA) and the host Tiftarea Academy Panthers (Chula, GA), saw Deerfield-Windsor's soccer squad knock off Tiftarea Academy by a count of 3-1.
The Knights (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Sherwood Christian Academy (Albany, GA). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Sherwood Christian Academy tipped Georgia Christian (Valdosta, GA), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Panthers battle the Terrell Academy Eagles (Dawson, GA) in a GIAA AAA/AAAA District 3 battle, on Tuesday, April 29. Tiftarea Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
