New Riegel Blue Jackets (New Riegel, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Old Fort Stockaders (Old Fort, OH), 5-4 in a league challenge.

The Blue Jackets now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Joseph Central Catholic for a Sandusky Bay - River challenge on Wednesday, April 27. New Riegel will battle a Crimson Streaks squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Hopewell-Loudon (Bascom, OH). The Crimson Streaks record now stands at 5-7.
