Virginia High School Softball - Pulaski County can't get by Floyd County
April 26, 2023: Floyd, VA 24091 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) softball team held off the visiting Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA), by a margin of 6-5.
With the triumph, Floyd County moves its record to 5-8 on the year. The Buffaloes travel to Alleghany (Covington, VA) to play the Mountaineers in a Three Rivers contest on Tuesday, May 2. The Mountaineers come into the contest with a record of 8-4.
In their next game, the Cougars play the Patrick Henry Patriots (Roanoke, VA) in a River Ridge contest, on Thursday, April 27. Pulaski County will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 4-10 record after their 6-4 league loss to Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA).
