May 8, 2023: Dublin, VA 24084 The Carroll County Cavaliers softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Pulaski County Cougars to 1 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Carroll County moves its record to 14-2 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Floyd County (Floyd, VA) to clash with the Buffaloes in a Three Rivers game on Friday, May 12. The Buffaloes come into the game with a record of 9-8.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) in a River Ridge game, on Tuesday, May 9. Pulaski County will attempt to move on its 10-9 season record. The Knights come into the game with a 14-3 record after their 11-9 non-league win over Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA).
