Michigan High School Softball - Reed City bounces Kent City
April 26, 2024: Kent City, MI 49330 Spectators at Friday's league match between the Reed City Coyotes (Reed City, MI) and the host Kent City Eagles (Kent City, MI), witnessed Reed City's softball squad prevail over Kent City by a count of 10-0.
The Coyotes now sport a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Francis for a non-league match on Saturday, April 27. Reed City will face a Gladiators squad coming off a 11-1 league win over East Jordan (East Jordan, MI). The Gladiators record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Kent City moves to 4-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Big Rapids (Big Rapids, MI) to face the Cardinals in a Central State Activities Association-Gold match on Tuesday, April 30. The Cardinals go into the match with a record of 3-1. Big Rapids won 5-4 in their recent league match against Central Montcalm (Stanton, MI)
