April 27, 2022: Elkhart, IN 46517 The Jimtown Jimmies softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Bremen Lions to 5 in the Jimmies league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Jimtown moves its record to 8-1 on the year. The Jimmies host Concord (Elkhart, IN) to clash with the Minutemen in a non-league game on Saturday, April 30. The Minutemen come into the game with a record of 7-4. Concord won 14-3 in their recent league game against Warsaw (Warsaw, IN)

Game Summary
Bremen Girls softball could not get a timely hit while Jimtown did out lasting the Lions 11-5. Ellia Foster led the Lions with two hits, while Katie Moyer launched a 3 run home run to close the gap in the 6th inning. Jimtown came right back in the bottom of the frame adding 5 runs to secure the win.
