California High School Softball - Milpitas nudges Los Gatos

April 27, 2023: Milpitas, CA 95035

Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Los Gatos Wildcats (Los Gatos, CA), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 17-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Homestead for a De Anza challenge on Tuesday, May 2. Milpitas will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Los Altos (Los Altos, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, Los Gatos falls to 11-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Willow Glen (San Jose, CA) to battle the Rams in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 28. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 13-5. Willow Glen lost 1-0 in their recent league challenge against Gilroy (Gilroy, CA)
